Electrician

Location: Lancashire
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

The Role

This position is suited to a highly experienced electrical professional with a strong background in commercial and industrial environments. The successful candidate will undertake the installation, maintenance, testing and fault-finding of electrical systems, including large electrical panels and generators.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete effective repairs.
• Work safely with large electrical panels, generators and associated equipment.
• Carry out electrical inspection and testing.
• Complete the required certification and job documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and current electrical regulations.
• Identify potential safety, compliance and operational issues.
• Maintain a professional standard of workmanship across every site.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and site teams.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A minimum of 10 years' electrical experience within commercial and industrial environments.
• Significant experience installing, maintaining and fault-finding electrical systems.
• Significant experience working with large electrical panels and generators.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
• BS 7671 18th Edition Amendment 2.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and current industry regulations.
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary of up to £45,000, depending on experience.
• 24 days' annual leave, excluding bank holidays.
